Two London- based mothers have developed an innovative way to keep track of children whilst out and about, by ‘tattooing’ them with their home telephone number.
Lena Kyriacou and Susanna Eriksson have invented a temporary tattoo kit to help lost children, by letting parents write their phone number on the child.
Lasting for up to five days, the peel-off tattoo reads ‘If I am lost’ and then provides a space for a contact number to be written in. The tattoo can be placed on the hand or arm and allows children to show police officers or members of the public in they get lost so that they can be reunited with their families.
Mrs Kyriacou developed the idea along with her business partner after losing a child for 25 minutes at an event three years ago, and deciding to try and find a way to shorten the time it takes to find lost children.
